Silicone is very conformable, flexible, trackable, and wear resistant in comparison to PTFE.By adding a glass fabric to the matrix, Taconic is able to obtain the added benefits of dimensional stability, durability, excellent tensile strength and low elongation. Some products that may adhere to PTFE coated fabrics may not adhere to silicone coated surfaces.
