Why use an Anti-Seize Compound instead of a Grease that both contain Molybdenum Disulfide?

Molybdenum Disulfide is known for it's ability to keep a part lubricated and low wear protective properties under extreme pressure. With Anti-Seize Compounds there is a lot higher percentage of solids, Molybdenum Disulfide is a solid, as a percentage of the compound than grease. Solids cost more than the carrier, such a petroleum o synthetic but solids is what protects most your parts.

The goal is to reduce maintenance costs with problems associated with metal to metal contact including corrosion (chemical and environmental) friction, high temperature, load and torque. Anti Seize does all of what grease does but much much better because it has much higher solid content. Solids include Copper, Graphite, Aluminum, Graphite, Ceramic, Molybdenum Disulfide, and Nickel. Solids is what acts as a barrier between the two mated parts and reduces the above mentioned problems. Also, Grease and Oils do not last more than 400 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit before it leaves the parts it is protecting. The Solids continue protecting up to the melting point of the solid, which depending on the formula is between 1800 to 2600 degrees Fahrenheit.

Cop-Graf is a top-quality anti-seize compound composed of pure copper and graphite in a high-heat-resistant carrier. It is designed to lubricate and protect threaded connections and flanges at temperatures to 1,800ºF (982ºC) and under extreme load pressure conditions. Cop-Graf has water-resistant and anti-oxidant properties that resist seizing and galling while protecting against rust and corrosion. Applications for Anti Seize Cop-Graf on spark plug threads installed in aluminum, exhaust manifold bolts, engine bolts, oxygen sensors knock sensors, thermostat housing bolts, fuel filter fittings, battery cable connections. I have heard of it being used on the back of the brake pads and on the metal bracket where it touches the side of the brake pads. Where have you used Anti Seize in your car and for what problem?
