Widely used in industry by our members here in the UK, epoxy can be found in numerous paints and synthetic compounds. It is much more used than methacrylates. Methacrylate is actually most commonly used in making plastics. Epoxy is a very powerful adhesive that forms an almost indestructible bond. While technically a resin, it is commonly used much like glue. It can be used to join together a wide variety of materials including plastic, wood, metal and glass. Epoxy is also very useful for making repairs.
